Thank you, Dr. Mark Slavin, for my daughters’ beautiful smiles and for convincing me that I too would benefit from braces while in my 50s.
My youngest daughter’s teeth were very crowded and as a result came in very crooked. My oldest daughter had issues with her jaw when her teeth started coming in. I had always had crooked teeth but in my 40s I developed severe TMJ dysfunction. My jaw locked, could open only minimally and chewing was excruciating. It seemed silly to get braces at my age, but I was really losing my quality of life with the constant pain and Dr Slavin came up with a treatment plan and then a payment plan that was very manageable.
Under Dr. Slavin’s treatment plan I have achieved a new level of function I could not have imagined after years of suffering.

Dr. Slavin has been our kids’ dentist since they were young. It seemed only logical to continue with their orthodontics at the place where we had always received the best dental care. Dr. Slavin and staff were wonderful through the entire process, whether it be explaining the insurance or the exact details of the treatment. Appointments were made with ease, even the unexpected ones due to a broken wire or bracket. Whatever the problem was, we were often able to come in that same day. We never had a problem making an appointment that fit into our hectic schedules. Choosing Dr. Slavin for our children’s orthodontic treatment was the best decision we made. Our children have beautiful, forever smiles thanks to Dr. Slavin!!
